O Lord, I call on you,
  hurry to my help:
  listen to my voice when I call.

Dómine, clamávi ad te, ad me festína;*
  inténde voci meæ, cum clamo ad te.

You are my refuge, Lord, my heritage in the land of the living.

Tu es refúgium meum, Dómine, pórtio mea in terra vivéntium.

My voice cries out to the Lord;
  my voice cries out its entreaty.

The Lord Jesus humbled himself:
