	^DRAMatthew 3:13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to the Jordan, unto John, to be baptized by him. ¹⁴ But John stayed him, saying: I ought to be baptized by thee, and comest thou to me? ¹⁵ And Jesus answering, said to him: Suffer it to be so now. For so it becometh us to fulfill all justice. Then he suffered him	^DRAMark 1:9 And it came to pass, in those days, Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan.

DRA Luke 4:1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost, returned from the Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the desert, 2 For the space of forty days; and was tempted by the devil. And he ate nothing in those days; and when they were ended, he was hungry	^DRAMatthew 4:1 Then Jesus was led by the spirit into the desert, to be tempted by the devil. ² And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterwards he was hungry	^DRAMark 1:12 And immediately the Spirit drove him out into the desert. ¹³ And he was in the desert forty days and forty nights, and was tempted by Satan; and he was with beasts, and the angels ministered to him.
. ³ And the devil said to him: If thou be the Son of God, say to this stone that it be made bread. ⁴ And Jesus answered him: It is written, that Man liveth not by bread alone, but by every word of God.	. ³ And the tempter coming said to him: If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. ⁴ Who answered and said: It is written, Not in bread alone doth man live, but in every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God.
⁵ And the devil led him into a high mountain, and shewed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time; ⁶ And he said to him: To thee will I give all this power, and the glory of them; for to me they are delivered, and to whom I will, I give them. ⁷ If thou therefore wilt adore before me, all shall be thine. ⁸ And Jesus answering said to him: It is written: Thou shalt adore the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.	⁸ Again the devil took him up into a very high mountain, and shewed him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them, ⁹ And said to him: All these will I give thee, if falling down thou wilt adore me. ¹⁰ Then Jesus saith to him: Begone, Satan: for it is written, The Lord thy God shalt thou adore, and him only shalt
⁹ And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and he said to him: If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself from hence. ¹⁰ For it is written, that He hath given his angels charge over thee, that they keep thee. ¹¹ And that in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest perhaps thou dash thy foot against a stone. ¹² And Jesus answering, said to him: It is said: Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. ¹³ And all the temptation being ended, the devil departed from him for a time.	⁵ Then the devil took him up into the holy city, and set him upon the pinnacle of the temple, ⁶ And said to him: If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down, for it is written: That he hath given his angels charge over thee, and in their hands shall they bear thee up, lest perhaps thou dash thy foot against a stone. ⁷ Jesus said to him: It is written again: Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. thou serve. ¹¹ Then the devil left him; and behold angels came and ministered to him.
