Antiphon

After three days they found Jesus in the temple, 

sitting among the doctors, listening to them and asking them questions

Post tríduum invenérunt Iesum in templo,

 sedéntem in médio doctórum, audiéntem et interrogántem eos..

PSALM 122

They filled me with joy when they said,

  “We will go to the house of the Lord.”

PSALM 121:1-9

Lætátus sum in eo quod dixérunt mihi:*

  «In domum Dómini íbimus».

Antiphon

Jesus went down with them to Nazareth and lived under their authority.

Descéndit Iesus cum eis et venit Názareth et erat súbditus illis.

PSALM 127

If the Lord does not build the house,

  its builders labor in vain.

As Jesus grew up, he advanced in wisdom and favour with God and men.

The child Jesus grew to maturity, 

and he was filled with wisdom; and God’s favor was with him.
